Mario Ruiz

Born in Alicante (Spain) in 1965, designer Mario Ruiz graduated in Industrial Design at the prestigious Elisava school in Barcelona. He began his professional career in 1995 by opening his own studio in Barcelona. Mario Ruiz’s work has been exhibited in exhibitions throughout Europe and Japan and recognised with more than 40 major awards. In 2016 he received the prestigious National Design Prize, awarded by the King of Spain, Felipe VI, and the Ministry of Economy.
